Mr. M. Anil has over 26 years of extensive banking and financial services experience, with diverse expertise across branches, treasury, financial markets, credit, corporate finance, strategic planning and as Deputy Zonal Head and Zonal head of 3 major Zones of Bank of Baroda.
His key areas of professional experience include :
Treasury and Financial Markets: Extensive experience in treasury functions, including the bond market, foreign exchange and equity markets, with a strong understanding of financial markets, investment activities and market operations.
Leadership and Business Operations: Over the course of his career, he has held several positions of significant responsibility within Bank of Baroda and its overseas operations, including senior leadership roles as Zonal Head, Network DGM, DGM – Strategic Planning and Deputy Managing Director of Bank of Baroda UK Ltd, with responsibilities ranging widely in business operations, strategic planning, driving the business and compliance.
International Banking Experience: Served as Deputy Managing Director of Bank of Baroda UK Ltd., gaining valuable international banking experience and exposure to diverse regulatory, operational and business environments.
Credit Underwriting and Appraisal: Strong experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis and credit appraisal, with expertise in evaluating financial performance, business risks and credit proposals.
Governance and Board Experience: Served as Deputy Managing Director, Bank of Baroda UK Ltd. and as a Nominee Director in RAJCON and Baroda Rajasthan Gramin Bank (BRKGB), providing experience in strategic decision-making, corporate governance and institutional oversight.
He holds an M.Sc., PGDBF from NIBM, CAIIB, FRM Level I and CFA Level I and is an alumni of IIM, Ahmedabad executive education.
He currently serves as the Managing Director & CEO of BOB Securities and Giltedge Limited.
